12 June-2010 Power supply is done.. WAs built in a roll around Equipment rack. The ART13 can set on top for teating. Notes; [1] Power supply was built to replace the normally used motor generator set. Many hours by all involved were spent in design meetings, design drawings, parts procurement, Parts construction, chassis construction, equipment rack assembly, initial testing and final on the air testing to complete the ART13 transmitter operational project. Project time was Nov 2009-June2010. [2] Bob Begeman-W9KVK engineered the use of microwave oven high voltage transformers as HV 1.2KV transformers & filter chokes for the 1.2kv & 400 volt power supply units used. (Proving that electrical engineers can accomplish some things with a "HACK SAW!" ) [3] Mike Sercer-WA9FDO is the wizard of cabinet construction & "Krinkle Finish Black paint" [4] Amazing Bob Thompson-N9SF; took the enormous task of Schematic drawings, project coordination and produced the most commercial assembled rack & chassis design that anyone in our USS INDY radio exhibit group could have completed. "Most impressive work !!!" SPECIAL THANKS.... [5] Many long hours to complete this task by all volunteers.
