Indianapolis South side Scouts from troop #51 visited the WW2IND station.!

Below are some pix from their visit & On The Air Ham radio operations.

Indiana War Memorial museum:

USS Indy Radio Central exhibit....

Approximately 54 visitors total.
Among the early morning was (14) members of the Boy Scout troop # 51 from.
South side Indianapolis.They toured the Museum and then the
USS Indy WWII Radio room exhibit.
Ed-N9IZN, Dave-N9KZJ & Chuck-W9IH explained the WWII radio exhibit;
then Amateur (Ham ) radio operations.
80 & 15 meters were used to get the scouts on the air for some real
Ham experience operations. (South Africa -15m)!
They even got some CW (morse code ) practice time on the KE9YA CW station

The troop plans to return for another Ham radio only day in the future.!!
